About this Event
A poker crawl is a pub crawl with a twist: pick a lucky card at every stop to make the best poker hand! From 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, participants will be “crawling” between Poker Stops (Spring Inn, Cuvee, Bottle Theory and Docs Victory Pub) to make their best poker hand. Players will have the chance to win prizes and have fun eating, drinking and socializing along the way. Proceeds will benefit Access Sports.
Players are responsible for picking up and keeping track of their indvidual scorecards. Players will draw one card per Poker Stop (first stop includes two draws). All draws must be validated by a Poker Stop staff member.
- The Poker Run route must be completed in 4 hours including stops.
- Players should pick up their scorecard and map at the first Poker Stop (Spring Inn). If a player is unable to pick up its scorecard in time, find an EJWC member at the subsequent Poker Stops (Cuvee, Bottle Theory, Doc's Victory Pub) to coordinate pick up.
- At each Poker Stop, Players will draw one card from a bag containing a full deck of cards without jokers (52 cards). The Poker Stop staff member will place a unique stamp on the scorecard for the rank and suit of the card drawn. The playing card will be returned to the bag so that the full deck remains together.
- Players must proceed to each Poker Stop in order to complete their poker hand. Only one card can be drawn per Poker Stop (first stop includes two draws).
- The final Poker Stop is Doc's Victory Pub. Players will draw their final card at Doc's. In order to qualify for prizes and raffles, all cards are required to be turned in for validation at Doc's no later than 7:30 p.m. No exceptions.
- Standard poker hand rankings will be used to determine the winners. Prizes will be awarded to best hands and the worst hand! Winners will be annouced by 9:00 p.m.
