Check Out Solar - ☀️Celebration and Solar 101

Check out solar at _Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Shepard Branch_ on **Saturday, August 1st at 10 am**! Through a partnership between Sustainable Columbus, Solar United Neighbors, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and Columbus Water and Power, this community space in the North Central Area now has access to clean, affordable, renewable power to support their operations for decades to come. At this free event, we’ll hear from leaders behind the library project, and a Columbus resident's experience going solar, followed by a casual information session focused on the Columbus Area Solar Co-op. This city-supported group purchasing program makes going solar easier and more affordable for homeowners, nonprofits, and small businesses across Central Ohio. Columbus residents may also qualify for a city-funded rebate covering up to 20% of installation costs.**We'll have beverages and pastries.
