Cheakamus Lake trail clean-up
About this Event
Cheakamus Lake Trail clean-up
Join the Friends of Garibaldi Park Society on their first trail clean up of the season at Cheakamus Lake.
We will walk to the Singing Creek campground and do some brush clearing in that area.
We may also help BC Parks with carrying in supplies to build a ramp over a root ball close to the campground. This part of the activity will be decided closer to the time.
Around the campground, we'll be cleaning up trash, trimming branches, moving smaller logs and recording any major damage for our friendly BC Parks rangers. We'll stop for lunch at the campground before hiking out.
