Put ChatGPT to work in your business

Running a small business means handling more than one job. If you already use ChatGPT for questions or drafts, this workshop will help you give it a clear assignment and guide it toward a finished result you can use.

Join ChatGPT Work for Small Business on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern, live online or in person at COhatch Lakeland, 211 East Main Street, Lakeland, FL 33801.

Leave with something you can use

During a 90-minute guided workshop, we’ll turn two small, fictional donut-shop sales files into an organized workbook with a product summary and a plain-English owner brief. You’ll check a finding against its source, ask for one useful improvement, and save the finished file. No coding or spreadsheet-formula knowledge is needed.

  • Give ChatGPT a clear business assignment.
  • Turn sample files into a useful workbook, product summary, and owner brief.
  • Check figures and claims against the original sources and recognize missing information.
  • Request a focused improvement, reopen the result, and save your finished work.
  • Write a reusable work order for a task in your own business and choose one step to try within 48 hours.

Who this is for

Small business owners, solo operators, freelancers, and small-team staff who have used ChatGPT for questions or drafts and want help putting it to work. This is a beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction. You’ll practice one complete workflow, with room for questions and optional challenges.

What’s included

A fillable student workbook, copyable prompts, practice files, a review checklist, and a completed example. Brief instructor demonstrations of connected apps, scheduled tasks, and an interactive Site show what you can explore next.
