Ever wonder what really happens when you "go under"?

Anesthesiologist Dr. Craig M. Johnson will answer that question and many others during a presentation at 3 p.m. Sunday Oct. 26.

After medical school and residency at the University of Minnesota Dr. Johnson was in private practice with Anesthesia Associates of Saint Cloud Minn. from 1984-2016. He is board-certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology and is past president of the Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists. He was medical director of the operating room and chair of the Surgical Suite Committee at St. Cloud Hospital.

Among topics he will discuss are what providers can administer anesthesia care and common care delivery models; types of anesthesia; effects; what is monitored during anesthetic and how; common side effects; and complications and adverse reactions.

The presentation at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church 7570 N. Thornydale Rd Tucson is free and open to everyone. It is being put on by the church's Health and Wellness Committee.
