The family and friends of Char Van Hulst are rallying together on her behalf to plan and host a fundraising benefit. This event will be held to assist with making a safe and comfortable home environment for her. There are necessary home modifications that need to be done and other essential costs that benefit money will go towards, so she can concentrates on battling cancer. Char’s cancer journey started in November 2022 when she was diagnosed with Endometrial Adenocarcinoma. Over the next 6 months she had a hysterectomy, radiation, in April of 2024 started 6 rounds of chemo. In October of 2024 she was diagnosed with Recurrent Metastatic Uterine Cancer that has metastasized into her lungs and started Immunotherapy Chemotherapy to help her fight .
Char is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet, who cares to a fault and is always willing to give of herself when others are in need. This road has not been easy but with courage, fight and family & friends she has been resilient.
It is now our turn to do something for her!
