It's time for our annual Holiday Party! Join us Saturday December 14th for lessons, dancing, food, lots of fun... you don't want to miss this! The evening kicks off with hors d'oeuvres served at 7:00 (while they last), followed by a pre-dance intermediate lesson at 8:00 taught by WCS Champion Doug Rousar and WCS All-Star Elise Herman. In addition to the intermediate lesson, we offer a separate beginner lesson during the same time frame so even if you or your friends have never danced West Coast Swing, we've got you covered. Social dancing follows the lessons from 9:00-11:45.
West Coast Swing Champion Doug Rousar has had a professional West Coast Swing career for more than 25 years. He teaches dance throughout the world, and serves as Chief Judge for WCS dance competitions annually in Norway and Switzerland, as well as throughout the United States. His background also includes music and theatre.
Elise Herman has done some form of dancing since age six and fell in love with how West Coast Swing blends so many styles. She has been active and competing in WCS since 2008 (currently in the All-Star division), and enjoys traveling the world to experience new dance communities. Her passion is to work with new dancers and help them to discover the joy that this dance brings.

The Bearded Buffalo is located in downtown Belmont, just across the Catawba River from Charlotte (west of the airport). It is a full service restaurant and bar downstairs with an upstairs dance floor and party space. Public parking is available throughout the immediate area surrounding the restaurant.
