On September 10th, 2025, a bold, courageous, and articulate voice for conservative values and the Christian faith was taken too soon from this life. We are still mourning the unspeakable loss of an American hero and martyr. But we rejoice in the countless stories of the impact Charlie had around the world. He was truly an inspiration!

Keynote speaker will be Bill Redmond, former Congressman and local pastor.
This is his biography:
Bill Redmond, is an ordained minister and served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from New Mexico from 1997 to 1999. He is the only Republican to have ever represented New Mexico’s 3rd congressional district. His service in Congress occurred during a significant period in American history, and as a member of the House of Representatives he participated in the democratic process and represented the interests of his constituents while contributing to the legislative process during one term in office.
Advocating for families, on Redmond’s first day in office he cast the deciding vote leading to the 1997 balanced budget resolution which created what is now the $2,000 per Child Tax Credit.
While in office, Redmond sought private property justice for Hispanic families in New Mexico. He secured the historic passage of “The Guadalupe-Hidalgo Treaty Land Claims Act of 1998” in the House of Representatives, the only one of its kind in 150 years. He introduced an amendment to the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act aimed at bringing justice and compensation to uranium miners and others in New Mexico affected by radiation exposure.
His advocacy on behalf of Native American communities earned him an endorsement from the All- Indian Pueblo Council, which recognized his efforts in fighting for the rights of Native Americans.
His committee assignments reflected his commitment to the people of New Mexico. He served on the Veterans Committee to secure expanded health benefits and care for veterans, the House Armed Services Committee to secure funding for NM military bases, and the Banking and Financial Services Committee to expand home ownership for NM families.
Redmond secured the $40M down payment for purchase of the Valle Caldera National Park as well as funds to expand Bandelier National a Monument and protect its watershed.
Of great importance, to secure the future of Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Los Alamos community, Bill Redmond secured the funding for the construction of the Santa Fe By-pass that led to the opening of the Waste Isolation Pilot Project (WIPP) in Carlsbad, NM.
Since leaving office Congressman Redmond has assisted the election of over 80 state legislators in more than 12 states as well as 7 US senators. During his tenure at CitizenLink, the public policy arm of Focus on the Family, he authored, “How to Run for Office as a Christian Conservative.” He continues to teach and lecture Christian college students who seek engagement in the public square.
As an ordained minister he has served churches in Illinois and New Mexico. His ministry work includes 13 trips to China to train Chinese Christians in Biblical Worldview Studies, including survivors of the Tienman Square massacre.
He currently serves as an elder at the Church of Christ in Los Alamos
