The Post and Courier presents an evening with New York Times bestselling author Craig Johnson at College of Charleston's historic Sottile Theatre in downtown Charleston. Johnson is the creator of the beloved Walt Longmire mystery series, which has captivated readers worldwide and been adapted into the hit Netflix series "Longmire."

Charleston Porch Talks is the inaugural speaker series of The Post and Courier's Journalism Preservation Society, a membership-driven community where citizens ensure South Carolina gets the investigative reporting it deserves. All proceeds benefit The Post and Courier's Public Service & Investigative Fund, which funds the newsroom's investigative reporting and public service journalism, ensuring that local journalism continues to thrive in South Carolina.
