Charleston Climate Coalition: Fighting Creatively Against the Edisto Gas Plant & Pipeline
The Charleston Climate Coalition has been fighting against an ecocidal proposal from Dominion Energy: build one of the biggest gas plants in the nation on the Edisto River with a pipeline through the heart of the ACE Basin to fuel it. Belvin Olasov will walk attendees through the issue, the creative actions and storytelling being used to oppose it, and how Lowcountry residents can join in the fight.
Belvin Olasov is the Co-Founder and Director of the Charleston Climate Coalition and the Co-Editor-In-Chief of Surge Magazine. He believes in bringing creativity and heart to mending the climate crisis. Free and open to the public.
