With roots in North Carolina and now calling Nashville home, Charles Walker embodies the essence of the modern singer/songwriter. Drawing comparisons to the likes of James Taylor, Ryan Adams, and John Mayer, he has quickly carved out a niche for himself in the Americana scene.Charles Walker’s new album "Talking to Myself" (released independently, August 2025) is a captivating new chapter in the singer-songwriter’s evolving artistry—an intimate, unfiltered conversation between the heart and the world around it. Blending soulful melodies, lyrical vulnerability, and a storyteller’s precision, Walker crafts songs that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant. Charles has opened for national acts: A Thousand Horses, Caroline Jones, Kashus Culpepper, Jonathan Peyton, Theo Kandel, and more. Charles has played over 500 shows in the southeastern United States since 2020 - primarily listening rooms and breweries.
To promote the release of his single "Caught In The Current" in August of 2023, Charles headlined two sold out dates at The Evening Muse in his hometown of Charlotte NC.
