About this Event
Join us for a transformative evening of relaxation and healing while supporting a vital cause. Andrea Roye, Sound Bath Practitioner, will be hosting a charity Sound Bath session to raise funds for New Leaf Domestic Abuse Service. This event will help support individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, enabling them to create a brighter future.
Venue:
New Leaf Domestic Abuse Service, Unit A, St. Michaels Road, St. Michaels Place, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3DN.
Event Highlights:
During the session, participants will be guided through an immersive experience of sound and vibration using crystal singing bowls, voice and other percussion instruments. You will be "bathed" in these sounds, which help to release stress, promote deep relaxation and facilitate emotional healing.
Potential Benefits of Sound Healing:
• Reduces Stress and Anxiety: The vibrations and frequencies can promote a sense of calm and reduce the mental and physical effects of stress.
• Improves Sleep and Focus: Regular sound baths can enhance sleep quality, increase mental clarity and aid in memory improvement.
• Relieves Muscle and Joint Pain: Sound healing can stimulate circulation and reduce tension, which can help alleviate pain.
• Supports Emotional Wellbeing: Encourages emotional release and healing, promoting a sense of peace and wellbeing.
What to Expect:
The session will begin with a brief introduction to sound healing, followed by a short meditation and then you will be enveloped in the soothing tones of crystal singing bowls, vocals, chimes and other percussion instruments. You will lay down comfortably on your yoga mat (or sit if preferred) and allow yourself to be guided into a deep state of relaxation.
What to Bring:
• Comfortable, warm clothing
• Yoga mat, blanket, and pillows
• Eye mask, woolly socks, and a bottle of water for hydration
• A Journal
