Next year , our wheels roll into Transylvania — a land of towering castles, shadowy forests, and roads that seem designed by a madman. It’s the birthplace of the Dracula legend, and while the fangs may be fiction, the death-defying drops along the mountain passes are all too real.Riders will face the Transfăgărășan Highway, with its dizzying switchbacks and cliff-edge views — once called “the best road in the world,” though some might say “the scariest.” Every twist feels like it could lead straight into the abyss…or into one of the mist-shrouded villages where the locals still whisper of vampires after dark.
But Transylvania isn’t just fear and folklore. It’s raw, untamed beauty — soaring Carpathian peaks, ancient fortress towns, and valleys so breathtaking they’ll make you forget the goosebumps on your neck. With every mile, riders will test their nerve, their stamina, and yes, their courage.
