Hi everyone☺️☺️
As im sure most of you are aware of what was laid upon us as a family over the last 1.5 years.
My Mum Gemma underwent major surgery for Bowel Cancer in August 2024, and although with a few bumps along the road and ill days, her recovery has been tremendous and she is doing extremely well!🤍
After a lovely Christmas, grateful that my mum was doing so well... on January 9th of this year I (Conan) suffered multiple severe seizures which unfortunately turned out to be a Grade 2 Astrocytoma Brain Tumour. Luckily, I was under the best care of Leading Neurosurgeon Professor Donnacha OBrien and underwent a Craniotomy on the 29th of January this year. Like my mum after a long recovery, I am also doing very well.🤍
My Mum and I would like to give back to those who helped us during these times, therefore we have decided to run this Charity Night in aid of the 2 chosen charities🏥🩵
💙Bowel Cancer Research UK - Who fund and support research into new treatments and cures, campaign to improve early diagnosis and access to treatment, and provide expert information and support for those affected by the disease.
💚Neuroscience Appeal at Beaumont Hospital -
The neuroscience appeal at Beaumont Hospital is a fundraising campaign by the Beaumont Hospital Foundation for the National Neurosurgical Centre for Ireland, which is located at the hospital.
The goal of the appeal is to raise funds to support and expand this life-saving centre, which is Ireland's leading hub for complex neurosurgical care.
Funds raised by the appeal help provide:
* Advanced medical equipment and technology
* Expanded facilities and resources
* Skilled personnel to support the neurosurgical teams
📍Saturday 14th February 2026, 8:30pm at the Bushtown Hotel, Coleraine.
Everyone is welcome on the night, bring as many friends and family along with you as there is sure to be a great night had and all for 2 great causes☺️
🎟️Tickets will be available from local businesses and pay at the door is also available on the night!
🎟️We will also hold a small raffle and anyone wishing to donate can do so by contacting myself or any other family members.
🎤Music by the amazing Bits N Pieces Band.
