Bismillah.

In partnership with Human Appeal, we’re raising funds to support orphaned children in Gaza. We’ve pledged to raise £10,000, and we’d love you to join us for a warm, community charity iftar with purpose at the heart of it.

Hosted by: Farah Hussain, Nabeela Arshad, Saeeda Ramzan & Saadiah Arfan (with support from our sister Rida behind the scenes).

Event Details

· Date: Friday 20th February 2026

· Venue: The Ark Glasgow, 32–38 Dixon Ave, Glasgow G42 8EJ

· Arrival: Please arrive by 4:00pm for registration and Qur’an recitation

· End time: The event will finish at 7:00pm

· Capacity is 100 people only please book early

Ticket Prices

· Adults (18+): £25

· Under 5: Free

· Ages 5–14: £10

· Ages 15–17: £15

On the evening

· A warm community iftar

· Raffle tickets available with amazing prizes kindly donated by local businesses

· Raffle payments: cash and online/card payments accepted on the night (no bank transfers, please)

· Auction item(s) (to be confirmed)

· Sweet Pals are making a surprise entry and for every packet of sweets purchased, all proceeds will go towards supporting orphaned children in Gaza via Human Appeal.

Leftover Food

Any leftover food will be available to purchase in takeaway boxes at the end of the evening. All proceeds from leftover food sales will also go to charity.

Allergy Notice (please read)

Food served at this charity iftar has been kindly donated and prepared in various kitchens. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that any food is free from allergens. Guests with food allergies or dietary requirements should use their own judgement when eating. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for any allergic reactions.

Photography/Videography Notice

The evening will be captured by the lovely Zee Social Media Agency, who is kindly donating her time. If you would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let one of our volunteers know at registration, and we’ll do our best to accommodate this.

· Parking: Free parking available.

· Travel: The venue is accessible via local public transport.

· Tickets: Please bring your digital Eventbrite ticket (a screenshot is fine).

· Children: Children are welcome, please supervise your children throughout the evening.

· Prayer space: Prayer space will be available.
