Charity Bowling Tournament Benefiting - American Legion 597 Family
Location: Lake Lane - The Colony
Registration: 1pm
Start Bowling: 2pm
$30 per adult bowler (pre-registration) shoes included
$40 per adult bowler (at the event) shoes included
$10 for kids - 10 and Under shoes included
There will be an Open Division, League Division, and Kids Division
9 Pin - No tap - Individual Tournament
3 games
Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Open Division and League Division - 1st place trophy for Kids Division
Additional information for League Division
League bowlers will use their composite book average of 2023-2024
Optional Brackets for additional $5 fee (to be paid at event)
Optional Crossover doubles for additional $2 fee (to be paid at event)
There will be food and drink specials, raffles, 50/50 raffles. The Golf Simulator will be set to free during the event for participants of the event.
Where the proceeds are going:
Funds raised during this event will be used to help the American Legion 597 Family continue to support various Veteran and Community programs and projects including, but not limited to, Boys and Girls State, National Veterans Arts Festival, Sweats for Vets, Christmas for Kids, Operation Purple Camp, Cancer Research, Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen, Dallas Life Homeless Shelter, Birdwell Foundation for PTSD, and other organizations that are in place to aid Veterans and their families.
American Legion Post 597 is a 501(c)3 organization that works to enhance the well-being of America’s veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation's largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. The members of the American Legion 597 family volunteer over 15,000 hours annually to help many Veteran and Community programs.
