This is a beautiful private property. It is only opened up twice a year to the hiking public for charity hikes. You hike, receive funny money, one dollar per year of your age and then you put the money into the donation baskets at the end of the hike. The farm then donates the money to each organizations.. There is also a donated free barbecue at the end of the hike. Parking fills up quickly so get there early and the last hikers go on the trail around 11 AM. Water is supplied along the course. The only thing you need to bring are your hiking shoes and your camera. The hike starts off with a beautiful waterfall and ends with a little pond. Non-perishable food pantry donations are also accepted the day of the hike. As a board member of 403 Reasons to Run Foundation. We look forward to this event every year and hope to see you on the trail.
