The Pope Lick Monster is a legendary part-man, part-goat or sometimes part-sheep creature reported to live beneath a Norfolk Southern Railroad trestle over Floyd's Fork Creek, in the Fisherville area near Louisville, Kentucky.Sooooooo.... We're going to swing by his place to see if he's home. We'll take the backroads over to Pope Lick Park and visit the Legend at Pope Lick Adventure Outpost, if they're open. From there we'll pass under the trestle and maybe catch a glimpse of the Pope Lick Monster on our way to Gander an American Grill for lunch. Backroads from there back to Frankfort to end the ride. The ride is right at 100 miles and 2 1/2 hours ride time plus stops. Gas at the start and end of the ride. NO GAS STOPS during the ride.
Meet up location will be the BP on the bypass in Lawrenceburg(Hill of BBQ 1040 Bypass S, Lawrenceburg) at 10:30am. Kickstands up at 11:00am
