Chapter 4: Scared Straight

A night of bold films, real conversations, and community exploring fear, choices, consequences, and the moments that change us.
About this Event

Scared Straight is the next chapter of The Scene, bringing filmmakers, creatives, and film lovers together for a night centered around stories that explore fear, consequences, hard truths, and the choices that can change everything.

Through a curated selection of films, we’ll explore what happens when characters are forced to confront reality, face what they’ve been avoiding, or experience the moment that shifts their perspective for good.

But as always, The Scene is about more than watching films. It’s about creating space for conversation, connection, and community. Meet fellow creatives, discover new stories, and connect with people across Chicago’s growing film community.

Come for the films. Stay for the conversation. Leave inspired to keep creating.

Create. Connect. Contribute.
