Join us for our final Chapter Meeting of the school year on Thursday, May 28th from 3-5pm in Easthampton, MA! We will be gathering at Pause & Pivot Farm's new Kitchen Workshop space for a fun evening of learning, networking, and terrarium-building!Attendees will learn about Pause & Pivot Farm and how they utilize Freight Farms to grow hydroponic greens for their operation. We will also hear examples of local districts using hyroponic growing in their cafeterias as part of their Farm to School programs. Attendees will receive 0.5 hr CEUs under the Key Area of Nutrition. Then attendees will participate in a fun, hands-on terrarium workshop led by Passalongs Farm. Each attendee will get to take home their own terrarium! Pause & Pivot will have a beautiful grazing table prepared for us, filled with homemade dips and crackers, cheese and charcuterie, desserts, and more! A variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee and tea will be available.
This event will be capped at 50 participants. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to register is Monday, May 18th.
