Shawnee Town 1929 invites the community to join us for the official Ribbon Cutting on our new Museum Chapel Saturday, April 12th at 10:00am! We know the community has been excitedly watching the construction activities over the past year. Finally, the museum delighted to finally show you the finished product!
This non-denominational, multi-faith rental space features an exterior historically inspired by the white church structures of early Shawnee, with a traditional-yet-modern interior for the community to enjoy year-round! Attendees will be invited to celebrate the opening and tour the new space.
The Ribbon Cutting event is free to attend and will begin promptly at 10:00am at the chapel. Please allow time to park and walk from the Visitor Center, located at 11501 West 57th Street in Shawnee.
