A new monthly Jewish Meditation Service, with a menorah lighting on the 3rd night of Chanukah, followed by an Oneg. Sponsored by the Prayer & Practice committee.Led by Ruth Benjamin Barham, a Beit Ahavah member, long time meditation practitioner and student of Torah of Awakening, currently enrolled in a meditation leaders program.
At Meditation Shabbat, meditation and its close friend, Consciousness, will be the themes, threaded through with some of the traditional elements and songs of a service. A Jewish meditation practice will be taught (based on Torahofawakening.com). All are welcome, whether you have never meditated, if you already have a meditation practice, and everyone in between. Come! Cultivate peace. We need you!
