Change, Act presents: A Cabaret Fundraiser for UK Disability History Month
About this Event
Enjoy a smorgasbord of disabled and neurodivergent talent from theatrical monologues to songs, to live art performance & dance-movement at the stunning Chat’s Palace, a venue with long links to disabled-led performance & activism including playing host to the famous Workhouse Cabaret in the 1990s.
To celebrate UK Disability History Month 2026 Change, Act! are proud to present our first ever cabaret event, with an array of performers to be announced.
Established in 2022, the event will raise funds for our work in applied theatre with disabled and neurodivergent adults. We follow the social model of disability so are inclusive of long term and chronic health conditions and mental health within our definition of disability.
You can find out more about Change, Act's work through our linktree @change.act!.theatre Official: Instagram | Linktree.
There is a pay-what-you-can ticket system with 3 tiers so that you can choose the ticket that is affordable to you. The cheapest ticket costs less than going to a cafe for coffee and cake for a whole night of entertainment supporting our community.
If you are in a position where even the lowest ticket price is not accessible to you but you would like to attend the event please email [email protected] and we may be able to support.
Theatre changes minds!
