2025 Champions of Change guest speaker, Victoria Contreras, founder and fashion designer of Yomisma.Victoria has a rich background in music, fashion design, and performing arts. Her journey began with a deep connection between clothing and confidence, stemming from her experiences on stage. She realized that what we wear significantly impacts our state of mind, not just on stage but in everyday life.
After working her way up to a Director role at a large non-profit arts organization, she felt a strong desire to run her own purpose-driven company. Her deep passion for helping vulnerable communities and creating a company aligned with her values was a significant motivator. She wanted to create garments that elevate outfits and empower women.
Yomisma’s Mission focuses on making women feel powerful and confident., with a commitment to sustainability and fair labor practices, while encouraging individuality and personal style through unique designs.
Victoria’s journey and values are deeply embedded in Yomisma, making it a brand that not only focuses on fashion but also on making a positive impact on the community and the environment.
