Lakewood CHURCH Champions Club Hosts 8th Annual Carnival & Resource Fair

Champions Club, a global special needs ministry founded at Lakewood Church, will host its 8th Annual Champions Club Carnival & Resource Fair on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lakewood Church, 3700 Southwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77027. The event is free and open to the public.

The Carnival & Resource Fair connects families in the special needs community with a wide range of local resource providers. Adults with special needs will have the opportunity to meet employers who are actively hiring, while families can explore services designed to support their children’s development.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, as well as carnival rides, food trucks, a raffle, free haircuts for all attendees, and a fun-filled family zone.

“When my wife Samantha and I found out about our son’s diagnosis when he was little, we wished there was an event like this where we could meet dozens of resource providers in one place instead of spending days browsing websites and making phone calls,” said Pastor Craig Johnson, founder of Champions Club. “This event is a one-stop shop for families who need services and resources to ensure their child has every opportunity to develop into an independent individual who contributes to society. Behind every diagnosis is a family, and very often these families feel rejected or forgotten. But there is hope—and you will find hope at the Champions Club Carnival & Resource Fair.”

Lakewood Champions Club is a specialized ministry serving children, teens, and adults with special needs and the medically fragile. With 140 locations worldwide, the program focuses on meeting developmental needs in four key areas: spiritual, emotional, physical, and creative.

The Champions Club Carnival & Resource Fair has been held annually at Lakewood Church for the past eight years, growing into one of the most significant community events for special needs families in the Greater Houston area.
