About this Event
The Special Olympics Los Angeles (SOLA) Lions Club invites you to a heartwarming evening dedicated to celebrating inclusion, empowerment, and the transformative power of Special Olympics and the athletes who train and compete year round.
This special event will feature a delicious dinner and a dynamic panel of speakers who are making a difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes and beyond.
Featured Speakers:
🎤 Kelly Pond – CEO, Special Olympics Southern California
Kelly will share how Special Olympics programs foster courage, joy, and community for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
🎤 Kim Unland – Law Enforcement Torch Run Board Member
Kim will discuss the critical role law enforcement plays in raising awareness and promoting inclusion through Special Olympics.
🎤 Dr. Linda Farrow – Special Olympics Healthy Hearing Volunteer
Dr. Farrow will highlight the Healthy Hearing initiative and its impact on the health and well-being of athletes.
