Jazz Coterie presents New York pianist/singer Champian Fulton with Swedish saxophonist Klas Lindquist, and regional celebrities Mark Urness on bass and Ryan Korb on drums.
Champian made her mark as a Dinah Washington-influenced singer while still in her teens, but in the years since she’s developed the piano prowess to match her vocal sensibility. There are few artists in jazz with as much mastery of both the microphone and keyboard.
The delightful Ms. Fulton swings the Great America Songbook. And it’s impossible not to get caught up in her charms. This young woman from Oklahoma captivates audiences in New York’s finest Jazz rooms and in concert halls around the world.
