Ice Cream for Breakfast is a dynamic music trio hailing from Southern Pines, North Carolina, featuring Katie Wyatt on viola and vocals, Anthony Parks on guitar and vocals, and John McDonald on guitar and vocals. Formed from the chance camaraderie of Parks and McDonald, who met while working at the Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant in downtown Southern Pines since 2011, the band blends folk, Americana, and chamber elements into lively performances. They’ve energized local venues like The Wine Cellar, Weymouth Center’s Boyd House, and Connecticut Ave. events, captivating audiences with their harmonious sound and community spirit.
