About the Artists: Raina and Kelcey are recent graduates of The Juilliard School. Violinist Raina Arnett performs internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player, with recent appearances at the London Jazz Festival, Lucerne Festival, Grafenegg Festival (Austria), Bach Virtuosi Festival, and Bang on a Can LOUD Weekend. Cellist Kelcey Howell has performed across NYC at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, including in masterclasses with Yo-Yo Ma and Lynn Harrell. She regularly records as a studio musician in Los Angeles and performs as a substitute cellist in the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
Location: The Glass Clouds Ensemble House (Building 14, Nolan Park) is a beautiful community arts space with a cozy living room salon & porch seating, surrounded by lots of green space. Air conditioning and cold drinks provided :)
Glass Clouds Ensemble is a chamber music collective and a 2026 Organization in Residence with Governors Island Arts. We're hosting free music programming all summer long on the island!
Governors Island is a 10-min ferry from Manhattan and Brooklyn – ferry schedule & more info. It's a great place to spend a weekend day, rain or shine, with lots of art exhibits, bike paths, and food trucks.
