Official Parade Theme
Honoring 250 Years of American Service
This year’s Chamber Memorial Day Parade theme, “Honoring 250 Years of American Service,” commemorates the 250th anniversary of our nation by recognizing the men and women who have served—past and present—to protect our freedoms and uphold the ideals upon which America was founded.
From the founding of our nation to today, generations of Americans have answered the call to serve. This theme invites parade participants to honor the service and sacrifice of our military, veterans, first responders, and community heroes who have played a role in shaping and protecting our country over the past 250 years.
Parade entries are encouraged to reflect moments, people, and stories of service throughout American history—from the Revolutionary War to modern-day service—highlighting the courage, dedication, and selflessness that define our nation.
9 am - Memorial Day Ceremony on the east side of the Henry County Courthouse
10 am - Memorial Day Parade
Sponsorship closes May 1, 2026, for the window cling print deadline. Closes May 16 for the program print deadline. Sponsorships after May 1st may not be included in the window cling benefit.
Parade entry registration closes May 21, 2026 - Registration fee of $25 after May 21.
Memorial Day Parade Sponsor $250- Sponsor receives promotion on the Chamber website registration page, social media, Chamber Eblast, and Veterans ceremony program, and will be included in the sponsor listing on the window cling at the corner of Main St. and Broad St. in downtown New Castle.
Port-A-John Sponsor $100 (for one)/$450 (for all five at the event) - How fun! Sponsor a port-a-john! Business logo and snarky signage on one port-a-john door. Website and social media recognition. $450 sponsor would receive the company logo on the Broad and Main Streets window clings. $100 will not be on window clings.
Special Feature Sponsor $400 - Dixie the Praying Dog --A crowd favorite! Business name on window clings at the corner of Main and Broad Street in downtown New Castle. You will receive promotion on the Chamber website registration page, social media post, Veterans ceremony program, and Chamber Eblast.
MUST reserve sponsorship by May 1, 2026, to be included in window clings. Sponsors received after May 1st will not be included on window clings.
