In recognition of America 250, join us for a special Memorial Illumination of the Chalmette Battlefield honoring the 211th anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans. Over 2,100 luminarias will light the battlefield in commemoration of the American and British casualties. This will be a driving tour (no walking permitted) with an optional audio tour.
Gates will open at 5:30 pm and close at 8:30 pm.
Event is subject to change depending on weather conditions - If weather delays the January 10th event, a later makeup date will be announced.
