Come celebrate Art & Spring with the first Chalk the Walk on Saturday, June 6 .
We are inviting anyone who is interested in creating a chalk masterpiece on sidewalks in front of Centertown businesses. Each artist or team of two artists will have a designated 24” x 36”
space taped off to fill with their artwork. Centertown will provide the chalk and space and you create the art!
“Chalk the Walk: Where Sidewalks Blossom!”
Calling all artists, dreamers, and pavement Picasso’s! It’s time to turn our sidewalks into vibrant canvases during the Chalk the Walk event. Here’s your chance to unleash your inner
creativity, one chalk stroke at a time. Sidewalks become galleries as artists young and old create magic. From whimsical stick figures to intricate mandalas, every stroke tells a story.
Who knows? Your doodle might inspire a passerby’s smile or a photo for the 'Gram.
Best Art Awards! Our discerning judges (okay, it’s probably the neighborhood cat) will scout for
brilliance. Will it be the 3D butterfly? The cosmic swirls? Or the hopscotch masterpiece?
Saturday - June 6 starting at 10:00 a.m.
Artist meet at the Bookman (715 Washington St.) at 9:30 to be assigned their location.
Judging at Noon with awards presented at the Bookman at 1:00 p.m.
Teams of 2 Artist or a single Artist - There is a field for the team name if you are more than one artist but only one person needs to register.
