Throat Chakra Mandala – Paint & Wellness Class
Continue your journey through the chakras with the Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)—the energetic center associated with communication, self-expression, truth, and finding our authentic voice.
Located at the throat, Vishuddha is traditionally considered the fifth of the seven primary chakras. It invites us to explore not only how we communicate with others, but how honestly we express ourselves—our thoughts, feelings, needs, ideas, and creativity.
The Throat Chakra is traditionally associated with the color blue and represented by a 16-petaled lotus. At its center is a downward-facing triangle containing a circle, traditionally associated with the element of space or ether (akasha) and the seed syllable HAM.
During this two-hour Paint & Wellness experience, we'll explore the symbolism and meaning of the Throat Chakra through guided reflection, mindfulness, and creative expression. You'll then create your own Throat Chakra mandala using shades of blue and complementary colors that speak to you.
As we paint, we'll consider the balance between speaking and listening, expression and silence, and what it means to communicate from a place that feels true to who we are.
As always, your mandala does not need to look like anyone else's. You'll be encouraged to choose your own colors, trust your creative instincts, and allow your mandala to become a personal expression of what the Throat Chakra means to you.
No artistic or painting experience is necessary.
What’s Included
All painting supplies and a 10x10 canvas are provided. You'll leave with your completed Throat Chakra mandala and an opportunity to carry the class themes of truth, expression, communication, and authentic voice with you beyond the studio.
