CHAKRA SERIES: Third Eye Chakra Mandala Paint & Wellness Class
About this Event
Third Eye Chakra Mandalas
Continue our Chakra Series with the Third Eye Chakra, or Ajna, the sixth of the seven main chakras. Located between the eyebrows, the Third Eye Chakra is traditionally associated with intuition, insight, perception, imagination, and our ability to see beyond the surface.
The Sanskrit word Ajna is often translated as “command” or “perceive.” Its traditional color is indigo, and its symbol features a two-petaled lotus. The two petals are often understood as representing dualities—such as the rational and intuitive mind—coming together in greater awareness.
In this two-hour paint and wellness class, we’ll explore the history, symbolism, and meaning of the Third Eye Chakra while creating our own Third Eye Chakra mandalas using simple dot-painting techniques. Along the way, we’ll reflect on what it means to quiet some of the outside noise, listen inward, and trust our own intuition.
No painting experience is needed. All supplies are included, and you’ll leave with your completed 10x10 canvas and a deeper understanding of the Third Eye Chakra and its symbolism.
