The music you grew up with. The songs that bring everyone to the dance floor. The colors, the culture, the food, the friendships, and that feeling of being surrounded by people who just get it.
This Independence celebration, we’re bringing all of that to Seattle for a night of Bollywood, Punjabi, Desi hits, and the sounds that have brought generations of Indians together.
And for the first time in Seattle, we’re taking the celebration a step further with a Boiler Room-style DJ setup — putting DJ Prashant right in the middle of the crowd, so you’re not just watching the party, you’re part of it.
Come with your friends, come dressed in the colors of India, sing along to the songs you know by heart, meet new people, and celebrate where we come from.

Leading the festivity is DJ Prashant—the son of an Indian Air Force veteran and a pioneering force in Desi nightlife. Since leaving a career at Intel in 2009 to become a full-time artist, DJ, and event producer, he has spent the past 17 years bringing people together through Indian music and culture. His journey from Cornell graduate and engineer to cultural trailblazer continues to inspire Asian Americans to pursue their passions.
PRASHANT:
Prashant is an ex-Intel engineer turned DJ, choreographer, singer, and community organizer in Portland, Oregon. His personality and charisma instantly strike a chord with audiences of any age or background.
He is known for an enthralling DJ set with interactive dance lessons and performances seamlessly woven into an irresistible blend of the world's greatest dance music. His agenda is simple - bring community and cultures together to create connections on the dance floor, and get you dancing longer, and harder than you ever thought possible!

Over the course of the night, Punjabi, Bollywood, South Indian songs, and music from across South Asia (new & old) will make their way into our DJs playlist. So contribute positively, uplift everyone around you, tip your bartenders well, and enjoy the music being played.
