Tuesdays 3pm-4pm
Join us every Tuesday at 3pm for a therapeutic yoga reset. During this 1 hour session we will focus on joint freeing, range of motion, balance and strengthening movements while staying seated in a chair. Every class will offer therapeutic balancing/energizing breath practices and guided relaxation/meditation.
Chair yoga offers some of the same benefits as “regular” yoga. These benefits can include strengthening your immune system, improving balance, range of motion, sleep quality and helping to ease the effects of anxiety and stress on the mind and body. No yoga experience necessary. These classes are donation based
(suggested donation $5), bring an open mind and dress comfortably.
Karla Alexander is an C-IAYT Yoga Therapist with over 1000 hours of yoga training, has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching yoga for 10 years. Karla leads both group and private yoga sessions and specializes in meditation while also in working with clients with cancer, trauma and anxiety. She is also a certified Ayurveda Wellness Counselor and End of Life Doula.
