Join Ruth Sanders, E-RYT 500, and Shona Castillo, E-RYT 500, for an inspiring and practical Chair Yoga Certification designed to expand your skills and open new doors for sharing yoga with a wider community.
This training is perfect not only for yoga teachers, but also for healthcare professionals, caregivers, physical therapists, and anyone eager to bring movement, mindfulness, and relief into everyday settings—from offices to senior centers and beyond.
Chair Yoga makes yoga truly accessible. By adapting traditional poses to a chair, you’ll learn how to support people of all ages and abilities, including those navigating limited mobility, injuries, medical conditions, or inflexibility. If you’ve ever wanted to serve hospitals, nursing homes, community centers, or corporate environments, this training gives you the tools to do just that.
In this 10-hour certification, you’ll learn how to:
• Teach safe, effective chair yoga classes for both general and workplace settings
• Offer thoughtful, supportive modifications
• Integrate meditation, relaxation, and breathing techniques to enhance overall well-being
Your training includes a comprehensive teaching manual, a certificate of completion, and 10 Yoga Alliance CEUs for eligible members.
