I couldn't be prouder of the Monday Supported Chair yoga class Hafan Yr Afon. Newtown. Every week the group members turn up for themselves.
None of us is getting any younger so what we do in class resets our nervous system out of stress and into rest and digest, strengthens our muscles in arms, legs and torso, stretches those tight places in our lumbar spine, hips and hamstrings from sitting and hunching over computers &desks &phones & encourages balance and better posture which often gets lost as we age.
'SUPER-AGERS' do not allow their body to deteriorate. They turn up for themselves every week and work with what they got! Stroke, replacement knees & hips, cancer recovery, Long COVID & COPD ....None of Cre8 Wellbeing members are waiting for someone or something else like medication to keep them SUPER ......They Know The Responsibility is All theirs and just look at how they get on with it.
