Chai with the Rug Guy

Spend an evening learning the history & importance of hand knotted rugs all while watching two types of chai being made. A special one-on-one time with Bunyaad director Yousaf Chaman as part of our Annual Fair Trade Rug Event.

Tea time is an integral part of every Pakistani workplace & household. Tea is always served piping hot and drunk while piping hot. Biscuits of some form always adorn the side of your cup. There are many different forms of chai but one of the most special is the pink Kashmiri chai, either served slightly salty or sweet depending on your taste and topped with crushed nuts. Enjoy Kashmiri chai and one other special chai as part of this special evening.
