Come join us for a magical evening of music by Matthew Meals and Benjamin Beggs! Our Jr. Sn. high school music teacher Matthew Meals will be performing classical works by J. S. Bach, Giovanni Bottesini, W. A. Mozart, Edward Grieg, Fryderyk Chopin, and Maria Szymanówska on the piano. K-State faculty member Benjamin Beggs will join him on the double bass. Together they will perform selections by Brahm’s transcriptions and transcriptions from well known operatic masterworks. If you have not witnessed Meals playing the Steinway in the Art & History Center at Trails Days Cafe then prepare to be amazed. "I felt like I had been to heaven!" says Shirley McClintock after hearing him play at the talent show earlier this year.
