CGA at the Colorado Springs St Patrick's Day Parade 2026!

The time has come for our first event of the year and we could use your help representing us and the greyhounds! The St. Pattie’s day parade is March 14th in downtown Colorado Springs. The staging area opens at 11am, but we really don’t need to be there until about 11:30/ 11:45ish. The parade starts at 12pm, but can sometimes take a bit for us to start walking depending on how far back we are.
The parade route is a pretty simple route. It’s flat ground and not terribly long. Once we start walking it’s over pretty quick for a parade.
Parking can sometimes be an issue depending on where you find parking. There are lots closer to the staging but sometimes you might have to park a bit farther away. If you want to drop your grey off closer then go and park, we will be available to help.
Make sure to get out all of your festive outfits and accessories! Depending on the Colorado weather, you might also need a light jacket.
This is such a fun way to kick off the events for the year. It is such a delight to see people light up when they see a gaggle of greyhounds coming down the street. Last year we had at least 20 people and greyhounds I think that were able to join us last year! That’s amazing!
