About this Event

The CeTI Female Afterwork is a new networking event bringing together female PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists. In addition, we warmly welcome all women who are passionate about science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship and would like to become part of this growing community.

Great careers rarely happen in isolation. They are shaped by inspiring people, honest conversations, and the confidence that your own ambitions are achievable. That is exactly what this event is about.

In a relaxed summer atmosphere, you will meet outstanding women who have built successful careers in academia, founded startups, or created impact in industry. They will share not only their achievements, but also the challenges, setbacks, and key decisions that shaped their journeys. Their stories are meant to make success visible, relatable, and attainable.

Together, we will explore different career paths that emerge from research, academic leadership and professorships to science-based entrepreneurship and innovation-driven careers in industry. More importantly, we will create opportunities to exchange experiences, ask questions, build meaningful connections, and learn from women who have already taken the next step.
