The Certified Pharmacy Technician program prepares students to work in a pharmacy under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. Through the acquisition of medical knowledge and techniques, the student will be able to prepare and dispense medications, maintain patient records, set-up, package, and label routine orders: mix medications. Graduates of the Certified Pharmacy Technician program can seek employment at hospital pharmacy departments, drug stores, grocery stores with pharmacies, independent pharmacies and anywhere there’s is a need for a Pharmacist.
