About this Event

Healthy Capital District is offering courses for provisional certification for the role of Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)!

We support you through the entire process and are dedicated to your success!! Unlike other programs, we provide THREE MONTHS of support after course completion! From completing foundational training to submitting a completed application, we are here for you!

Upon receiving your CRPA-P, you are immediately Medicaid-billable through an OASAS-licensed entity!

To qualify for CRPA certification you must:

• Have history of a substance use disorder , be someone who has personal or family experience with substance use disorder (SUD), and/or who is passionate about supporting someone in their recovery from a SUD

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

After submitting your interest, you will be contacted regarding potential scholarship options. Registration via Eventbrite does not guarantee a seat. Classes are kept small and registrants are required to respond to outreach and confirm participation.

Instructor: Katrina Fox , CRPA/CARC NYCB Trainer

Katrina Fox is approved by ASAP-NYCB to deliver this training towards professional certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and/or Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC)

CRPA-P Course Schedule: Classes start February 10th and conclude February 21st. Classes are held on every day, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Classes from Feb 10-14th focus on the Recovery Coach Academy; OFF February 17th; February 18th class focuses on MSR; classes from February 19-21st focus on Ethics.
