For adult beginners and adults with prior ceramic experience. Beginning students can choose between making a combination of a couple different functional pieces (plates, bowls, mugs, cups) and/or an Atomic Cat. A ceramics supervisor will be available to guide you on what you would like to make. Advanced students are welcome to explore other projects. Glazes, tools, and clay are included in the class fee. We have two wheels, available by sign-up, and large tables for hand building. The kiln will be fired at designated times, determined by the ceramics studio supervisor.
Limited to 10 participants.

4:30-7:30 PM on all days
Wednesday, March 5 – BUILDING
Thursday, March 6 – BUILDING
Wednesday, March 12 – GLAZING
Thursday, March 13 – GLAZING
Pieces will be fired and available for pick up March 19-22 (possible to change, will be determined by ceramics supervisor)
Price: $115 for members, $125 for non-members
Registration is required. Registration closes February 26th.
About the supervisor: Jack Short studied ceramics at Ohio University and worked as a studio potter. He has experience with hand building and wheel throwing, with an emphasis on constructing functional wear like mugs and bowls.
