Brighten the night with these adorable spooky ceramic ghost lanterns! Each student will get about 1 lb of clay to work with. I will demonstrate step-by-step instructions using a slab rolling handbuilding technique. We will delicately shape our ghosts after creating our slab of clay and then cut out our scary ghost faces. After class I will bring everything back to my studio to get bisque-fired. Pieces will be fired in a clear glaze that will really bring our ghosts to life! The firing process will take about 4-6 weeks to ensure best results. Everyone's pieces will be dropped off and packaged up at Tomandchickpea in Derry, NH.
