Welcome to the Centre for Printing History & Culture 2026 Conference

Join us for a day of exciting discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities with postgraduate researchers and academics in the field of printing history.
This one-day conference will showcase the work of the CPHC's research community.
Speakers are considering a variety of subjects from the areas of publishing, printing, book-collecting and book-lending. The conference will provide a valuable opportunity for researchers and enthusiasts to build connections, share methodologies and approaches, communicate in-progress research, and hear different perspectives on their ideas.
Following the final talk, there will be a drinks reception (times TBC).
About CPHC
As a joint research centre between Birmingham City University and the University of Birmingham, the CPHC encourages research into all aspects and periods of printing history and culture, as well as education and training into the art and application of printing.
