**Limited Parking. We encourage members to carpool due to the distance. This is a neighborhood beach, no concessions near by. We encourage you to bring a sack lunch or join some afterwards on Astronaut Way for lunch after.**
Members of the Central Florida Watercolor Society invite you to a special day of Plein Air Painting.
“En plein air” is a French expression which means "in the open air,” and is used to describe the act of drawing or painting outdoors with watercolors or other types of paint. For this event, BYOP - Bring Your Own Paint! We suggest a chair and packed snacks or lunch as well. :) This is an stress-free day open to all skill levels; just show up with a sense of fun and creativity! This event is open to artists of all ages. Come, enjoy a beautiful day and let nature inspire you!
Hosted by members of the Central Florida Watercolor Society is a nonprofit group dedicated to promoting water-based painting and art. The purpose of the Central Florida Watercolor society is to contribute to the cultural atmosphere of Central Florida by promoting interest, education and participation in the art of watercolor. The society was founded in 1998 and in the following years, has welcomed hundreds of artists to its ranks. The society is open to anyone interested in watercolor, regardless of level of expertise. Consequently, the membership consists of a mix of accomplished artists, willing to share their knowledge, as well as novice members wanting to learn.
