Back by popular demand...., the Sacomoni's have agreed to host our May meeting at Saline River Canoe.
We are going to do a float/paddle Tuesday night, 5/26/26 from Peeler Bend to Lyle Park (Saline River Canoe).
There are a few shuttle options:
1. There will be a shuttle leaving from SRC around 5:30. Anyone taking this shuttle or renting a kayak from SRC, be there by 5:00pm ish.
2. Drive to the put-in at Peeler Bend. There will be a shuttle run after everyone gets back. Ideally, meet up at the put-in at 6pm.
3. Drive to the put-in whenever you get there after 6.....but please make sure you are with at least one other person.
If you don't want to or plan on paddling, just come to SRC and hang out. They have a great deck to chill out and fellowship.

We are going meet and be ready to start the official paddling at 6:00pm at the Peeler Bend put-in. If you want to meet at Lyle Park before hand and shuttle up with someone else, this is fine. Mike Sacomoni will be shuttling us up as a group after the float.

We are going to be having pizza delivered around 7:45pm. We will have ice tea and lemonade there, but otherwise BYOBeverages. Paddle as fast or slow as you want, but how hot the pizza is or how much is left are the risks the slow pokes take.
There was a tree vs. deck issue...so bring a chair with you.
Please respond that you're "going" ahead of time to plan the right amount of food.
This is a minimal skill, any type of paddle craft type thing. This is also an opportunity, if you don't have your own gear, to rent a sit-on-top kayak from Saline River Canoe for $20 (normally $40...thank you Sacamonis), but you must be at SRC at Lyle Park by 5pm to get signed up and squared away. Please get in touch with them ahead of time so they know you're coming and such. They will then shuttle those people up to Peeler Bend.
We will have a short meeting once everyone is there.
