Central Chapel AME Church 160th Anniversary

Central Chapel AME Church will celebrate our 160th Anniversary in 2026, with the theme “Serving Christ and Community for 160 Years.” The highlight of the commemoration will be an Anniversary Banquet at the Mills Park Hotel, 321 Xenia Avenue at 6pm on Saturday, August 29th. Tickets are $75 per person for individual tickets, and $70 per person for tables of ten (Call Kevin McGruder at 937-562-1938 or Email: [email protected]). The culmination of the commemorative activities will be on Sunday, August 30th with a 3:30pm anniversary worship service at Central Chapel (411 South High Street at Davis Street) featuring the Bishop of the Third Episcopal District, Rev. Dr. Stafford.
